For Those We Love -
Almighty God, we trust all who are dear to use to they never-failing care and love, for this life and the life to come, knowing that thou are doing for them better things than we can desire or pray for; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Scripture Meditation - Preparing for labor
Psalm 91:14-16
Those who love me, I will deliver; I will protect those who know my name. When they call to me, I will answer them; I will be with them in trouble, I will rescue them and honor them. With long life I will satisfy them, and show them my salvation.
Psalm 112:1a, 7-8a
Praise the Lord! Happy are those who fear the Lord. They are not afraid of evil tidings; their hearts are firm, secure in the Lord. Their hearts are steady, they will not be afraid.
Isaiah 40:11
He will tend his flock like a shepherd; he will gather the lambs in his arms; he will carry them in his bosom and gently lead those who are with young.
Isaiah 43:2 - Do Not Fear
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you; when you walk through fire you will not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.
Isaiah 49:15
Can a woman forget her nursing child and have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, but I will not forget you.
And this phrase, often-repeated by Elizabeth Elliot, never fails to bring comfort and peace -
I have loved you with an everlasting love, and underneath are the everlasting arms (Jer. 31:3, Deut. 33:27).
